The birth of Chalet Les Ambiances: a love affair with nature

We are driven by a passion for nature and ecological construction. In 2019, we acquired our land with the dream of creating an exceptional place.

Our adventure began with the search for the perfect place to bring our vision to life

Place that we discovered after three years of intensive research in the beautiful Eastern Townships region. We found it rather unexpectedly, during a series of visits with our two babies asleep in their car seats. The breathtaking view from the summit provided immediate inspiration for our project.

We are a large family

As we had children of all ages, our ambition was to create a space where everyone could enjoy an exceptional group experience. Our chalet was designed to offer activities for children, teenagers, and adults, allowing everyone to enjoy nature in their own way.

We’re active people with a passion for cooking and buying local, and our chalet reflects our personality. Many of our furnishings and decorative elements have been designed and manufactured in-house, adding a personal touch to every corner of our space.

A long-standing commitment to the environment

Our desire to respect the environment was at the heart of our approach. Chalet Les Ambiances is a new, ecological, sustainable, and healthy construction with a low energy footprint. The south-facing windows capture the winter heat of the sun and the summer coolness of the surrounding hardwood forest.

Our chalet was built to current LEED® certification standards

We were surrounded by passionate professionals, whose contributions helped us achieve a project which exceeded our expectations, thus offering our visitors an unparalleled experience. We show our commitment to the environment by choosing sustainable, ecological, local, and recycled materials whenever possible.

Whether for exterior design, furnishings, or decoration, we've given new life to a wide range of materials. For example, old bowling lanes were transformed into a kitchen island and dining room tables.
